Do your batteries have blackout protection?
Yes, our systems are capable of working even when the grid is down during outages and blackouts.
Do your batteries work on a three-phase set up?
Even though our systems are typically single phase, they are compatible with a three-phase set up with the addition of a smart metre.
How can I monitor and control the battery performance?
You can easily monitor and control your VoltX™ system either online or through our app — available on both the App Store or Google Play. You’ll be able to configure your battery as well as monitor its capacity, all at your fingertips.
How long does a battery last?
Each battery has 8000 life cycles. One life cycle is when the battery is charged and discharged, so your battery’s expected lifespan is around 20 years.
How many batteries can I install?
You may connect up to 6 batteries together to increase your storage capacity.
Is your battery storage system compatible with an existing solar system?
Absolutely! Our VoltX™ systems are a great option for storing excess power if you have solar panels installed but no battery.
What are the benefits of a battery storage solution?
A battery storage solution is designed to help cut your energy bills. By storing generated solar power you can reduce the amount of power you draw from the grid and can even see you earning energy credits for exports. Given these savings, our systems pay for themselves in around four years.

Can I request where the battery is installed?
Yes, our installation team will discuss the installation plans with you ahead of time so that we can find the best and safest placement of the battery.
Do you ship the battery to my home?
Of course! We ship Australia-wide as well as arrange to have a CEC-certified technician handle the installation for you.
How fast can I get the system installed?
After signing up and finalising the project, installation happens within 2-4 weeks.
How long will the installation take?
Installations typically take between 2-4 hours.

Is full payment required upfront?
Nope! All you need to do is put in a 10% deposit and settle the remainder of the balance after your installation is successfully completed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards and bank transfer as well as financing through Brighte.

Do your systems include a warranty?
Yes they do. Our warranty terms are comprehensive, detailing the scope of coverage, exclusions, and the steps required to maintain the validity of the warranty. It's designed to ensure you understand exactly what is covered and how you can benefit from our support.
What do I do once my system reaches the end of its lifespan?
Each VoltX™ system’s lifetime expectancy is outlined in that specific product’s warranty section. System removal at end-of-life may also incur additional costs. Contact VoltX Energy for more information on end-of-life disposal.
What is your contractual warranty?
Our contractual warranty is in addition to any manufacturer warranties or guarantees, warranties and consumer rights covered by Australian Consumer Law. Any claims made under Contractual Warranty or Australian law will be addressed by way of repair or replacement.
