Most Australian households are well suited to a 25–30 kWh system — typically enough to cover overnight usage using solar energy generated during the day. Yes. Every advertised price includes the battery, hybrid inverter, standard installation by an SAA-accredited installer, app setup, and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate already applied.
Additional site-specific work — such as switchboard upgrades, concrete slabs, or difficult access requirements — may incur extra charges, but these are quoted separately and only proceed with your approval.
The median timeframe from deposit to installation is approximately 30 days. Your installation date is scheduled once your property passes compliance review, which usually occurs within a week of receiving your site photos. We’ll work with you to arrange a suitable installation date.
Every system includes:

All warranties are supported directly by VoltX Energy, so you deal with us directly — not the manufacturer.
Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate requires an existing or connected solar system.
If you do not currently have solar, mention it during your welcome call. We work with installation partners who can install both solar and battery systems together, often reducing additionallabour and installation costs.
Most Australian homes use single-phase power, which is what the VoltX Energy 2025 Home Battery System is designed for. Larger homes may use three-phase power — typically identified by three main switches in the switchboard.
If you are unsure, your welcome call will confirm compatibility, and we can adjust your system recommendation if needed.
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program (effective 1 May 2026) provides an upfront, tiered rebate based on battery capacity:
- Approximately $252 per kWh for the first 14 kWh
- Approximately $151 per kWh for the next 14 kWh
- Approximately $38 per kWh for capacity between 28–50 kWh
We apply the rebate directly to your quoted price, so there is no paperwork to complete and no waiting for a tax-time refund.
