$249 Deposit For?
Your deposit at VoltX Energy secures your battery hardware, reserves your priority installation slot, and locks in your current government rebate price. This ensures everything is ready for your home while protecting you against stock delays or price increases.
If your circumstances change, the price fluctuates, or we find that a safe installation isn't possible for your home, your $249 is fully refundable — no questions asked.
Frequently Asked Questions
Most Australian households are well suited to a 25–30 kWh system — typically enough to cover overnight usage using solar energy generated during the day. Use our “Help Me Choose” tool above for a quick recommendation, or speak with a specialist during your welcome call after reserving. We can provide a more accurate recommendation using your latest electricity bill.
Yes. Every advertised price includes the battery, hybrid inverter, standard installation by an SAA-accredited installer, app setup, and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate already applied.
Additional site-specific work — such as switchboard upgrades, concrete slabs, or difficult access requirements — may incur extra charges, but these are quoted separately and only proceed with your approval.
Yes — fully refundable to your original payment method within five business days. If you change your mind before installation, your property does not pass assessment, or required
site photos are not submitted within the seven-day window, your full deposit will be returned.
No restocking fees, no admin fees, and no “store credit only” conditions. Fully compliant with Australian Consumer Law.
The median timeframe from deposit to installation is approximately 30 days. Your installation date is scheduled once your property passes compliance review, which usually occurs within a week of receiving your site photos. We’ll work with you to arrange a suitable installation date.

Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate requires an existing or connected solar system.
If you do not currently have solar, mention it during your welcome call. We work with installation partners who can install both solar and battery systems together, often reducing additional labour and installation costs.
Most Australian homes use single-phase power, which is what the VoltX™ NeoVolt 9.6 is designed for. Larger homes may use three-phase power — typically identified by three main switches in the switchboard.
If you are unsure, reserve the VoltX™ NeoVolt 9.6 anyway. Your welcome call will confirm compatibility, and we can adjust your system recommendation if needed.
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program (effective 1 May 2026) provides an upfront, tiered rebate based on battery capacity:
- Approximately $252 per kWh for the first 14 kWh
- Approximately $151 per kWh for the next 14 kWh
- Approximately $38 per kWh for capacity between 28–50 kWh
We apply the rebate directly to your quoted price, so there is no paperwork to complete and no waiting for a tax-time refund.
