The Win Your System Back QLD promotion gives eligible homeowners the opportunity to purchase and install a solar battery system from VoltX Energy from just $3,999 and automatically go into the draw to win back up to $3,999 of their installation cost. Before securing your system, here's what you need to know:

  • Promotion period: Valid from 12:01 AM AEST on 11 August 2026 to 11:59 PM AEST on 21 August 2026.
  • Eligible entrants: Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who
purchase and install a solar battery system from VoltX Energy at their residential property during the promotional period.
  • Eligible locations: Residential properties in eligible QLD postcodes only. 
  • Automatic entry: Eligible customers will automatically receive one (1) entry into the draw after purchasing and signing a contract for purchase of a solar battery from VoltX Energy during the promotional period.
  • Prize: Three winners will each receive a reimbursement of up to $3,999 of their system cost. If the system cost is less than $3,999, only the amount paid will be reimbursed.
  • Product package: This promotion applies exclusively to eligible VoltX Energy Battery Systems.
  • Solar requirement: The property must have an existing solar PV system or have a new solar system installed alongside the battery.
  • Installation suitability: All installations are subject to a technical assessment, including photo or video submission and final on-site verification.
  •  Grid connection: The property must be connected to the main electricity grid.
  • Rebate eligibility: The advertised "from $3,999" price includes applicable federal and state incentives. Eligibility for rebates may vary depending on your circumstances.
  • Winner selection: Winners will be selected through a random draw in accordance with the promotion's Terms & Conditions and contacted using the details provided at the time of purchase.

Terms and Conditions

Draw details

The draw will be conducted by random selection from all valid entries received during the promotional period. The first three (3) valid entries drawn will each win a prize, subject to the one-prize-per-entrant limit above. Reserve entries may be drawn and recorded in case a winning entry is later found invalid.

Prize conditions

Government rebates, incentives, STCs, VPP incentives, finance subsidies or other third-party benefits are not part of the prize and do not increase its value. The prize does not include finance interest, lender fees, network charges, works outside the original contract, or any consequential cost. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash beyond the reimbursement described above. If the qualifying installation was financed, the winner remains responsible for all finance obligations above the prize cap.

Notification of winners

Winners will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the draw.

Claiming of prizes

Winners have two (2) months from the draw date to claim the prize by providing verification and nominated Australian bank account details. Reimbursement will be made by bank transfer as soon as reasonably practicable after verification.

Publication of winners

The last name, initial of the first name and postcode of each winner will be published at www.voltxenergy.com.au within 30 days of the draw date, for a period of 30 days, unless the winner requests otherwise.

Unclaimed prizes

If a prize is required to be rewarded under applicable State or Territory regulation, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 11:00 am on 22 December 2026 at 391C Park Road, Regents Park NSW 2143. The draw will be a random selection from all reserve entries (or, if required, all valid entries received during the Promotional Period). Winners will be notified and published in the same manner as the original draw.

Cancellation

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Terms and Conditions (and Schedule) and that entry into the promotion is deemed to be acceptance of them.
  2. The promotion commences on the start date and concludes on the end date (“Promotional Period”). Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Period only.
  4. Directors, officers, management, employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter or of any business associated with this promotion, and the immediate family members of any such person, are not eligible to enter. “Immediate family member” means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, sibling, step-parent, step-child or step-sibling.
  5. Draw: (a) the draw will take place at 391C Park Road, Regents Park NSW 2143 on 21 October 2026 at 11am; (b) the first three (3) valid entries drawn will be the winners; (c) the draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn; (d) if the draw is scheduled on a weekend or public holiday, it will be conducted at the same time and location on the following business day; (e) the Promoter will ensure the draw is open to public scrutiny and anyone may witness it on request; (f) each winner is determined by chance.
  6. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact each winner using the contact details held by the Promoter.
  7. If a winner does not claim their prize within the timeframe outlined in the Schedule, they forfeit the prize entirely and it will not be re‑awarded, unless a redraw or unclaimed prize draw is required under applicable State or Territory regulation or by a regulatory authority. In that case, any such redraw or unclaimed prize draw will be conducted in accordance with Term 5 and the “Unclaimed prizes” details in the Schedule.
  8. Entry is only available in connection with the purchase of an eligible VoltX Energy home battery installation at the Promoter's ordinary retail contract price. The cost of the installation is not increased as a result of the opportunity to participate in this promotion.
  9. Entrants must retain their contract, payment and installation records. If an entrant or winner cannot produce these when reasonably requested by the Promoter for verification, the Promoter may invalidate the relevant entry and/or the entrant's right to a prize.
  10. The value of each prize is based on the amount actually paid by the winner for their qualifying installation (inclusive of GST), capped at $3,999. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in system pricing after the date of entry.
  11. No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash beyond the reimbursement described in the Schedule, or transferable, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.
  12. If a prize cannot be provided as described for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide the cash equivalent value, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
  13. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter this promotion, beyond the ordinary retail contract price for the eligible installation.
  14. Each prize will be awarded to the individual named on the qualifying contract. Any entry made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter will determine the identity in its sole discretion.Entrants' personal information will be collected and handled by the Promoter in accordance with its privacy policy at https://voltxenergy.com.au/pages/privacy-policy. This information is used to conduct the promotion, verify eligibility and, where consented to, for future marketing. It may be disclosed to third parties assisting in conducting the promotion and to State and Territory lottery departments as required under applicable legislation.
  15. Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting an otherwise valid entry.
  16. The Promoter will publish only the winner's last name, initial of their first name, and postcode, as set out in the Schedule, unless the winner requests otherwise.
  17. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release, and to participate in reasonable publicity, photography, filming, testimonial or social media activity connected with the promotion, without further compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
  18. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
  19. Incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise non-compliant entries will, at the Promoter's discretion, be deemed invalid.
  21. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions. Any dispute concerning the conduct of the promotion or the claiming of a prize will first be resolved in direct consultation with the entrant; if it cannot be resolved, the Promoter's decision will be final, subject to the entrant's rights under applicable law. 
  22. Subject to Term 18, the Promoter and its associated agencies will not be liable for any loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law or that is caused by the Promoter's negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
  23. Each prize is a single reimbursement event for the winner's qualifying installation and cannot be separated into multiple events, components or repeat payments.
  24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising from a prize. Entrants and winners should seek their own independent financial advice regarding any tax implications of accepting a prize.
  25. This promotion is intended to be conducted as a lawful Australian trade promotion lottery in the participating jurisdictions.
