VOLTX ENERGY REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
For Individual Referrers and Referred Customers
Effective date: 16 April 2026
Referral Program Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 This agreement is between VoltX Energy (“we”, “us”) and the Referrer (“Voltx Energy fully installed customer”) and Referred Customer (“Referred Customer”).
1.2 This agreement consists of:
(a) these Terms & Conditions; and
(b) any registration, referral confirmation, or communication issued through the VoltX Energy Referral Portal.
1.3 This agreement governs participation in the VoltX Energy Referral Program, including:
(a) who can participate;
(b) how referrals are made and validated;
(c) eligibility and reward conditions; and
(d) referral submission, attribution, and validation rules; (d) reward qualification; (e) serviceability checks, and (e) conduct, compliance, fraud, and dispute procedures.
1.4 You accept this agreement by:
(a) joining the Referral Program;
(b) using or activating a referral link; or
(c) participating in any referral activity.
1.5 Your participation is not final until:
(a) your eligibility as a Referrer or Referred Customer is validated;
(b) referral details are captured and verified; and
(c) installation and payment qualify under clause 3.
1.6 This Referral Program applies to eligible referral submissions made between 16 April 2026 and 30 June 2026, with installations completed on or before 31 July 2026. VoltX Energy reserves the right to pause, extend, modify, or end the Referral Program promotion period at any time. This agreement ends when you cease participation, or earlier in accordance with its terms.
1.7 The dispute-resolution, privacy, fraud, and behaviour clauses continue after termination.
1.8 VoltX Energy complies with the Australian Consumer Law and all applicable regulations in administering this program.
1.9 Defined terms appear in Clause 17.
2. Eligibility
Referrers
2.1 A customer is eligible to refer if they meet all of the following requirements:
(a) have purchased and fully paid for a home battery system from VoltX Energy;
(b) have completed installation;
(c) have received an official invitation to sign up in VoltX Energy’s Referral Portal or has been manually approved by VoltX Energy for self-registration if the invitation email cannot be located.
Referred Customers
2.2 A Referred Customer is eligible if they:
(a) are a new customer and meet all of the following requirements:
i. are a new customer who has not previously purchased from VoltX Energy and is not registered as a Referrer in the VoltX Energy Referral Program;
ii. signed up through the unique referral link; and
iii. passed VoltX Energy’s installation, verification, and serviceability assessments.
(b) are an existing VoltX Energy customer who used the referral link, provided the purchase is for a new system.
Additional Rules
2.3 Referrals must be genuine and free of conflict of interest. Self-referrals, duplicate referrals, or referrals made to unfairly obtain rewards are not eligible.
2.4 Public posting, paid advertising, affiliate-style distribution, or mass sharing of links is prohibited.
2.5 Paid advertisements of referral links is prohibited.
2.6 Customers who display abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward VoltX Energy staff may be removed from the program immediately.
2.7 VoltX Energy may reject any referral that appears fraudulent or manipulated.
2.8 VoltX Energy may monitor referral activity and, where necessary, review or limit referral rewards if activity appears inconsistent with the intent of the program. Any such action will be taken to ensure fairness, compliance, and program sustainability.
2.9 Referrals are limited to ten (10) successfully Referred Customers in one calendar year.
3. Rewards
3.1 The Referrer will receive a $200 gift card reward, unless otherwise specified in writing by an authorised VoltX Energy representative, once the Referred Customer has satisfied all of the following requirements:
(a) signed up through the correct link;
(b) completed a qualifying purchase;
(c) fully paid for the system; and
(d) successfully completed installation.
Eligible Referral gift cards will be issued to the email address of the Referral account only. Reissue will not be possible. It is recommended to check spam folders.
3.2 The Referred Customer receives a $200 discount, unless otherwise specified in writing by an authorised VoltX Energy representative, which will be applied during the sales process and deducted from the contract value as reflected in the customer’s contract or quotation.
3.3 Rewards are processed monthly on the 15th of the following month.
3.4 Rewards may be delivered in one of the following ways:
(a) applied as a credit or discount to the Referrer’s current VoltX Energy installation balance (if any);
(b) applied as a credit or discount to the Referrer’s next eligible VoltX Energy purchase; or
(c) provided as a bank transfer only when the Referrer has no outstanding balance and no upcoming purchase to which the reward can be applied.

3.5 Referrers are responsible for any applicable tax on gift card rewards.
3.6 VoltX Energy may audit referrals to ensure validity before releasing rewards.
3.7 Referral rewards and discounts are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and are generally not valid in conjunction with other promotions, offers, or campaigns. However, VoltX Energy may approve the use of a referral discount alongside selected promotions at its discretion. Any such approval must be confirmed in writing and reflected in the customer’s contract or quote.
4. Refunds & Non-Eligibility
4.1 Rewards will not be payable if:
(a) the sale is cancelled or installation was not completed;
(b) payment is incomplete, invalid or reversed;
(c) the referral link was not used;
(d) the property fails serviceability checks;
(e) the referral is deemed duplicate, fraudulent or invalid.
4.2 VoltX Energy may reverse or recover incorrectly issued discounts or rewards applied in error.
4.3 VoltX Energy is not liable for delays caused by banking or , third-party financial processors, or gift card issuing companies.
5. Program Changes
5.1 VoltX Energy may modify, pause, or terminate the Referral Program at any time.
5.2 Any change applies to referrals created after the effective date.
5.3 If you do not accept changes, you may exit the program by written notice.
6. Serviceability & Approvals
6.1 All installations are subject to VoltX Energy’s technical, structural, safety, and serviceability assessments.
6.2 Eligibility approval does not guarantee an installation can proceed.
6.3 If installation is not feasible, no rewards will be payable.
7. Referral Process
7.1 Referrers may share their unique referral link through private and personal channels, including direct messages, email, SMS, and personal social media accounts.
7.2 The following are prohibited:
(a) personal social media posts;
(b) paid ads;
(c) posting links on public platforms;
(d) spam-style distribution;
(e) sharing links externally without context.
7.3 A referral is recorded only when the Referred Customer submits their details using the Referrer’s unique referral link.
7.4 If more than one person refers the same customer, the referral link used to complete the sign-up first will determine which Referrer is credited.
7.5 VoltX Energy may review referral activity to ensure it complies with these terms. Referrals that do not meet program guidelines may not be eligible for rewards.
7.6 VoltX Energy does not issue referral links directly to the Referrals or Referred customers. Referral links are provided solely by the Referrer via their unique link. Referred customers should use the link supplied by the Referrer to participate in the program.
8. Access to the Portal
8.1 Customers must keep their VoltX Energy referral portal login secure.
8.2 Any action taken under your account is assumed to be authorised by you.
8.3 You must notify VoltX Energy immediately of any suspected security breach.
9. Customer Responsibilities
9.1 You must:
(a) provide accurate information;
(b) not mislead or pressure others;
(c) comply with all program rules;
(d) provide truthful referral information;
(e) communicate respectfully with VoltX Energy staff;
(f) not engage in spam, harassment, or fraudulent activities.
9.2 VoltX Energy reserves the right to suspend participation for any breach of these responsibilities.
10. Program Guarantees
10.1 The referral platform will operate with reasonable care and skill.
10.2 This guarantee does not apply to:
(a) misuse;
(b) internet or system outages;
(c) inaccurate customer information;
(d) unauthorised account access.
11. Complaints & Escalations
11.1 Complaints may be submitted through VoltX Energy’s support channels.
11.2 All inquiries are logged in our CRM under “Referral Support.”
11.3 Escalations follow:
(a) Customer service team review
(b) Verification against system records
(c) Escalation to Program Manager if unresolved
11.4 Abuse, harassment, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate removal.
12. Reward Claims, Investigations & Program Changes
12.1 If a Referrer or Referred Customer believes they are entitled to a reward that has not been issued, they may submit a claim to VoltX Energy for review.
12.2 VoltX Energy will investigate claims by reviewing referral records, system logs, eligibility requirements, campaign terms, and installation and payment status.
12.3 Rewards will only be issued if all eligibility criteria and campaign conditions applicable at the time of referral are met.
12.4 Referral programs, promotions, and campaigns operate within defined start and end dates. Claims relating to expired or past campaigns will be assessed in accordance with the terms applicable at the time the referral was submitted.
12.5 VoltX Energy’s determination following investigation is final. No rewards will be payable where eligibility criteria or campaign conditions have not been satisfied.
12.6 These Terms and Conditions, as published on the VoltX Energy website, take effect from 16 April 2026 and apply to referrals submitted on or after this date. Previous versions remain applicable only to referrals submitted during their respective effective periods.
13. Privacy
13.1 VoltX Energy complies with all relevant privacy legislation. Data is protected under the VoltX Energy Privacy Policy.
13.2 Information is used solely for referral tracking, verification, reward processing, and program administration, and to send relevant VoltX Energy updates or marketing communications in line with our Privacy Policy. Customers may opt out of marketing at any time.
14. Failure to Perform
14.1 VoltX Energy may suspend or terminate participation if you:
(a) breaches these Terms;
(b) engages in misconduct, harassment, or abusive behaviour;
(c) submits fraudulent or unreliable referrals;
(d) misuses the referral system.
14.2 The Referrer or Referred Customer may be required to forfeit pending rewards.
14.3 Termination does not limit VoltX Energy’s right to pursue recovery of incorrect or fraudulent payouts.
15. GST
All rewards and discounts are inclusive of GST, if applicable. Customers are responsible for managing any personal tax obligations that may apply to rewards they receive.
16. General
16.1 Notices
(a) Any notice under this agreement must be in writing and delivered by email, postal mail, or through the VoltX Energy Referral Portal.
(b) A notice is considered received:
(i) if sent by email — when it is not returned as undelivered;
(ii) if sent by post — three (3) Business Days after posting;
(iii) if delivered through the Referral Portal — at the time it appears in your portal inbox or notification centre.
(c) You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date. VoltX Energy is not responsible for missed notices due to changed or inactive communication channels such as email.
16.2 Assignment
(a) You must not assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights or obligations under this agreement.
(b) VoltX Energy may assign or transfer its rights or obligations to an affiliated entity or approved third-party service provider, provided such transfer does not materially reduce your rights under this agreement.
16.3 Subcontracting
(a) VoltX Energy may subcontract any part of the Referral Program administration, including:
(i) installation services;
(ii) payment processing;
(iii) customer support;
(iv) data hosting; and
(v) referral portal management
(b) VoltX Energy remains responsible for ensuring subcontractors meet appropriate service and privacy standards.
16.4 Amendments
(a) VoltX Energy may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time to reflect system improvements, compliance requirements, or operational changes.
(b) Changes will be communicated by email and/or published on the VoltX Energy website or Referral Portal.
(c) Your continued participation after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
(d) If you do not agree to any amendments, you must stop participating in the program immediately.
16.5 Waiver
(a) A failure or delay by VoltX Energy to exercise a right under this agreement does not operate as a waiver of that right.
(b) A waiver is only valid if it is provided in writing and expressly states that it is a waiver.
(c) A waiver granted in one instance does not constitute a waiver in any other instance.
16.6 Severance
(a) If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the extent necessary.
(b) The remainder of this agreement will continue to operate in full force and effect.
16.7 Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and VoltX Energy regarding the Referral Program. It supersedes all prior discussions, emails, or informal communications relating to referral rewards or participation.
16.8 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
(a) This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
(b) You and VoltX Energy submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
(c) You agree that any dispute arising under or in connection with this agreement will be resolved in accordance with the dispute procedures outlined in Clause 11 before seeking external remedies.
16.9 Survival
Clauses relating to privacy, fraud, misconduct, reward recovery, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, data use, and definitions continue to apply after this agreement ends.
17. Definitions
The following terms have the meanings set out below.
If a term is capitalised anywhere in the Terms & Conditions, its meaning is taken from this section.
Account
The customer’s Referral Portal profile used to access referral tools, track referral activity, and receive program notifications.
Abuse / Abusive Behaviour
Any behaviour towards VoltX Energy employees or contractors that is threatening, aggressive, harassing, disrespectful, profane, intimidating, or otherwise inappropriate. This includes verbal abuse, written abuse, harassment, or repeated unreasonable demands.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
The consumer protection law found in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Business Day
A day that is not a weekend or public holiday in New South Wales, Australia.
Gift Card Reward
A $200 reward paid to an eligible Referrer once the Referred Customer has completed full payment and installation of their VoltX Energy system, unless otherwise specified by an authorised personnel from VoltX Energy in writing. The reward will be provided as a $200 Woolworths Gift Card.
Closed Won / Fully Paid & Installed
The status at which a Referred Customer has completed the full sales cycle, made full payment, and had their system installed—triggering reward eligibility.
Customer Service (CS)
VoltX Energy’s after-sales and support department responsible for handling referral-related inquiries and escalations.
Discount
A $200 reduction applied to the Referred Customer’s total contract price during the purchase process.
Dispute
Any disagreement regarding referral attribution, eligibility, reward status, or program participation that requires review by Customer Service and, if necessary, escalation to the Program Manager.
Duplicate Referral
Occurs when more than one Referrer attempts to refer the same person. The valid referral is determined by the referral link used during the Referred Customer’s sign-up. If a Referrer fills in two or more forms form different referral links, the first form will be valid.
Eligibility / Eligible Referral
A referral that:
-
- Was submitted through a valid referral link;
- Involves a new customer or an existing customer who has previously purchased;
- Completes full payment;
- Completes installation; and
- Meets all serviceability and validation requirements.
Fraud / Fraudulent Activity
Any attempt to manipulate the program, including but not limited to:
-
- Submitting fake or altered customer details
- Referring people within the same household
- Using multiple identities or accounts
- Encouraging others to bypass the process
- Artificially generating leads
- Misrepresenting your relationship to the referred individual
- Placing the referral link on forums or community boards
VoltX Energy may suspend or remove participants involved in fraudulent behaviour.
Installation
The physical installation of a VoltX Energy system at the Referred Customer’s property, confirmed by VoltX Energy or its authorised contractors.
Invitation
An automated email sent to eligible customers inviting them to join the Referral Program and create a Referral Portal account.
Lead
A potential customer generated through a referral link before qualification and processing.
Monthly Payout Cycle
The period in which VoltX Energy processes rewards, typically on the 15th of each month for all referrals that were fully paid and installed during the previous month.
Member / Participant
Any individual involved in the program, including the Referrer and Referred Customer.
Portal / Referral Portal
The customer-facing platform where Referrers can view their unique referral link, track referrals, see reward status, and manage account information.
Program
The VoltX Energy Referral Program as described in these Terms & Conditions.
Program Manager
The internal VoltX Energy role responsible for reviewing disputes, validating escalations, and overseeing program governance.
Qualified Referral
A referral that meets the serviceability, eligibility, and verification requirements for processing.
Referee / Referred Customer
A new customer who signs up through a referral link, goes through sales consultation, purchases a VoltX Energy system, completes full payment, and completes installation.
Referrer
An existing VoltX Energy customer who has completed full payment and installation of their system and is invited to participate in the Referral Program. Each Referrer will be provided a unique link to share.
Referral Link
A unique URL assigned to each Referrer for sharing with potential customers. Correct use of this link determines referral attribution.
Referral Portal
The customer-facing platform where Referrers can view their unique referral link, track referrals, see reward status, and manage account information.
Reward
The benefit earned by a Referrer (gift card) or Referred Customer (discount). Rewards are only provided for valid, completed referrals.
Sales Consultation
A process in which VoltX Energy representatives evaluate the Referred Customer’s needs, property suitability, and generate a formal quote.
Serviceability Check
An assessment conducted by VoltX Energy to determine whether the Referred Customer’s property is suitable and technically feasible for system installation. Passing this check is required for eligibility.
System / VoltX Energy System
A VoltX Energy solar battery or solar solution purchased by the Referred Customer.
Terms / Terms & Conditions
This agreement, including all rules, requirements, policies, responsibilities, disclaimers, and definitions governing the Referral Program.
VoltX Energy
VoltX Energy Pty Ltd, including its employees, agents, and authorised representatives.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the VoltX Energy Referral Program?
The VoltX Energy Referral Program rewards customers who share their positive experience with friends, family, or colleagues. When a unique referral link is used and the referred person purchases a VoltX Energy system, pays in full, and completes installation, both the Referrer and the Referred Customer receive a reward, unless otherwise specified in writing by an authorised VoltX Energy representative.
Who can join the referral program?
Participation is available if the following conditions are met:

How does someone join the program?
An email invitation is issued once installation and full payment are confirmed. Following the invitation link allows the individual to create a Referral Portal account and access a unique referral link.
Where is the referral link located?
The unique referral link is available in the Referral Portal after the account is created. The link can be copied and shared at any time from the dashboard.
How can the referral link be shared?
Referral links may be shared privately via:
- SMS
- Messenger
- Direct message
- Word-of-mouth
Referral links must not be shared via:
- Personal social media posts
- Paid advertisements
- Public forums
- Community groups
- Mass-distribution platforms
These restrictions protect participant privacy and ensure fair participation.
What does the referred person need to do?
The Referred Customer must:
- Click the referral link
- Complete the sign-up form
- Proceed with a VoltX Energy sales consultation
- Purchase a VoltX Energy system
- Pay in full
- Complete installation
Once these steps are completed, the Referred Customer receives a $200 discount and the Referrer receives a $200 Woolworths Gift Card, unless otherwise specified in writing by an authorised VoltX Energy representative.
What reward does the Referrer receive?
A $200 Woolworths Gift Card is issued once the Referred Customer:
- Signs up through the referral link
- Completes the purchase
- Pays in full
- Completes installation
Rewards may be paid as a bank transfer or applied as a discount on a future VoltX purchase.
What reward do I receive?
You receive a $200 reward once the person you referred:

No promo codes or additional forms are required. Rewards are issued unless otherwise specified in writing by an authorised VoltX Energy representative.
How can referral progress be checked?
Referral activity can be viewed in the Referral Portal, including:
- Referral sign-ups
- Referral progress
- Eligibility status
- Rewards paid
- Rewards pending
Status updates are provided automatically as referrals move through the process.
What should be done if a referral reward is not received?
The following should be checked first:
- The referral link was used during sign-up
- The Referred Customer has paid in full
- Installation has been completed
Can more than one person be referred?
Yes. There is a limit of 10 referrals in a calendar year, that can be made. Each successful referral qualifies for a separate reward.
VoltX Energy may update this referral caps in the future, and any changes will be communicated accordingly.
Is tax payable on referral rewards?
Tax treatment depends on the reward type:
- Cash rewards may be considered taxable income
- Discounts on purchases are generally not taxable
- Independent tax advice should be sought to confirm individual obligations.

Can referral links be used in paid advertising?
No. This includes boosted posts, sponsored ads, Google Ads, and paid traffic campaigns.
Referral links may only be shared privately or via personal social media accounts that are not promoted or boosted.
Does the Referred Customer need to purchase the same system?
No. Any eligible VoltX Energy product qualifies for the reward and discount, regardless of the system selected.
What behaviours may result in removal from the program?
Immediate removal may occur if a participant:
- Engages in abusive or aggressive behaviour toward VoltX staff
- Attempts to manipulate the program
- Submits fake or fraudulent referrals
- Misleads or pressures others into participating
- Publicly posts or promotes referral links in breach of program rules
- Operates multiple accounts or identities
- VoltX Energy reserves the right to take action to protect program integrity.
What happens if a referral cancels their purchase?
If a Referred Customer cancels the purchase or installation does not proceed, no reward is issued to either party.
Can a referral be declined due to installation issues?
Yes. A referral may be declined if the property does not meet VoltX Energy serviceability or installation requirements. In such cases, rewards are not payable.
Can referral details be changed after submission?
No. Once submitted, referral details cannot be amended. This ensures fairness and prevents disputes.
How are program changes communicated?
Program updates are communicated via:
- The registered email address, and/or
- Updates within the Referral Portal
