What is Keepers Sport?
Community sport is about far more than what happens on the field.
Behind every club and school are generations of players, coaches, officials, volunteers, supporters and families, connected by the teams they played in, the people they met and the experiences they shared.
Keepers Sport is the Ancestry.com of community sport. It is bringing those people, stories, team photos and sporting history together in one place, helping generations rediscover their sporting past and reconnect with the people and communities they shared it with.
Beginning in cricket as CricConnect, more than 3,900 stories have been published, 30,000 people identified and 200 clubs, schools and universities represented. Keepers Sport is now expanding across all sports.
PARTNER · COMMUNITY FOOTBAL
Who are Rockdale Ilinden FC?
Members of Sydney's Macedonian-Australian community founded Rockdale Ilinden FC in 1969. The club's name honours Ilinden, a powerful symbol of Macedonian history and culture, and decades on, that heritage is still at the heart of everything the club does.
The senior men's team competes in NPL Men's NSW, the top tier of football in the state, and took home the 2024 Premiership. Home matches at the Ilinden Sports Centre are streamed live on NPL TV. Meanwhile, more than 750 registered juniors and 12 dedicated girls' teams keep the pathways full from grassroots to first grade.
