How Jing found a 50 kWh system for $4,000 in Castle Hill, beat the May rebate deadline, and referred the house next door.
Reason for Installation
Jing lives in Castle Hill, Sydney. He had been paying his electricity bills without much thought until he came across an online advertisement for a VoltX Energy 50 kWh battery system priced at $3,990. The price immediately caught his attention. He was also aware that a government rebate was coming to an end before 1 May 2026, which added urgency to his decision.
The Installation
The team arrived in the morning and completed the job professionally. No mess was left behind. At the end of the installation, the team walked Jing through the technology and explained how the system worked. Jing rated the experience five stars.
Why VoltX Energy
Jing researched the market before committing. He found that comparable 50 kWh systems from other providers were averaging more than $8,000 at the time, with some priced above $10,000. The VoltX Energy system at $4,000, including a 5kW hybrid inverter, was roughly half the market price. That gap prompted him to dig deeper. He researched VoltX Energy and was satisfied with pricing, quality, and service.

The Results
Jing's system was installed in April 2026, and his first full bill had not yet arrived at the time of this interview. In the weeks since installation, his feelings about electricity at home had already shifted. In his own words, the 50-kWh battery is large enough for day-to-day household needs, and the electricity it provides felt essentially free.
From July 2026, Jing expects to benefit from a three-hour free electricity window each day. With a 50-kWh battery, he anticipates the household will cover all electricity needs from stored power, with some surplus potentially exported back to the grid. His projected monthly bill from that point is below $10, covering only the daily supply charge.
Referral
Jing's confidence in VoltX Energy didn't stop at his own home. When his next-door neighbour saw the system and wanted one too, Jing stepped in to help make it happen. Using the referral link, Jing helped him get in touch with the VoltX Energy team. The installation was completed within less than two weeks before the May rebate deadline, his neighbour is very happy with his system.
