Overview

The VoltX Energy warranty covers our energy storage products, ensuring your systems are protected against defects in workmanship, performance and materials. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives our comprehensive warranty offerings.

Product

Unless otherwise specified, VoltX Energy provides a standard Product Warranty of 60 months from the date of installation or shipment, covering you against any defects in materials or workmanship that might arise.

Battery Performance

Unless otherwise specified, our Battery Performance Warranty guarantees that your battery will retain at least 80% of its usable capacity for the duration of the warranty period, ensuring your energy system continues to perform optimally over time.

System End-of-Life

Each VoltX™ system’s lifetime expectancy is outlined in that specific product’s warranty section. System removal at end-of-life may also incur additional costs. Contact our teamVoltX Energy for more information on end-of-life disposal.

Workmanship

Our warranty ensures all products are free of defects due to workmanship for the duration of the warranty period. In instances where defects are identified, you may be entitled to: Repair of the product on-site or service centre. Replacement of the product with the same or a similar alternative.

Performance Issues

VoltX Energy is not liable for faults or defects in the system if:

• The fault or defect is not notified to VoltX Energy within the Guarantee Period.
• The fault or defect arises due to acts or omissions by a party other than VoltX Energy or its subcontractors.
• The fault or defect is caused by extreme weather events.

Contractual Warranty

Our contractual warranty is in addition to any manufacturer warranties or guarantees, warranties and consumer rights covered by Australian Consumer Law. Any claims made under Contractual Warranty or Australian law will be addressed by way of repair or replacement.

Terms

Unless otherwise specified, VoltX Energy provides a standard Product Warranty of 60 months from the date of installation or shipment, covering you against any defects in materials or workmanship that might arise.

Portability

Systems are designed for permanent installation on-site and not intended to be portable. Relocating a system requires professional assistance and may incur additional costs. Contact our teamVoltX Energy if you wish to relocate your system.

Cooling-Off Period

The owner has a 10-business day cooling off period from the date of signing their system contract with VoltX Energy wherein they can terminate the contract without incurring any penalties.

Termination Rights

The Owner may terminate the contract through writing to VoltX Energy in the following circumstances:

• If Grid Connection Approval is refused.
• If the proposed final system design differs significantly from what was previously agreed.
• If the site-specific system design and performance estimate are not provided before the expiry of the cooling-off period.
• If the estimated delivery time frame for installation is not adhered to within the Retailer’s control.
• If extra chargeable work arises that is not a valid variation and not specified in the initial contract.

Refunds

Where termination occurs due to any of the conditions listed on this page, VoltX Energy will provide a full refund of any amounts paid.

Additional Charges

Any special circumstances beyond the control of VoltX Energy result in extra charges to be borne by the owner, such as metering charges, damage to the metre panel and other unforeseen site conditions.

Liability

VoltX Energy uses all reasonable care during installation, but is not liable for:

• Effects on any roof manufacturer’s warranty.
• Damage to the roof or property unrelated to the installation.
• Loss or damage arising out of the performance of the contract where a breach of the Owner Property Warranties has occurred.

Notice

A notice of termination is considered received if hand-delivered on the day of delivery or sent by email with proof of date, time and recipient email address.
