1 Phase vs. 3 Phase:

• 1 Phase: Most homes use single-phase power, which is sufficient for regular household needs.
• 3 Phase: Larger homes or those with heavy electrical appliances (like central air conditioning) might use three-phase power. If you're unsure, check your electricity bill or meter box.

Monthly or Quarterly Bill: Enter your electricity bill amount either monthly or quarterly, depending on how you receive it. This helps us estimate your current energy costs and potential savings accurately.

Input Your Rate: Look at the back of your electricity bill for your rate. It typically appears as cents per kWh. Don’t forget to add GST: for example, if your rate is 26 cents per kWh, include GST to get 28.6 cents per kWh.

Find Your Daily Usage: If your bill provides average daily usage in kilowatt-hours (kWh), enter it here. If not, don’t worry - you can leave this blank, and we'll make an estimate based on your bill amount.

Daytime Electricity Usage: Estimate the percentage of your electricity used during the day after solar installation. Consider how much power you'll use while the sun is shining (e.g., appliances, heating/cooling, and electronics).

Current AGL Offer: Enter the export rate offered by AGL or your current electricity retailer. This rate is the amount you'll get paid for the excess energy your solar system sends back to the grid. Check your latest electricity bill or the AGL website for this information.

Choosing Your Solar System: Enter the size of the solar system that you’re using. The size can vary, but the maximum is usually 13.3 kW. If you’re not sure, start with an average size and adjust based on your energy needs and roof space.

1. Small Systems (1.5 - 3 kW):
   • Suitable for small households or apartments with low energy consumption.
   • Typically produces 16-24 kWh per day.
2. Medium Systems (4 - 6 kW):
   • Ideal for average-sized households with moderate energy use.
   • Typically produces 16-24 kWh per day.
3. Large Systems (7 - 10 kW):
   • Suitable for larger households or those with high energy consumption.
   • Typically produces 28-40 kWh per day.
4. Extra-Large Systems (10 - 13.3 kW):
   • Best for very large homes, small businesses, or those with significant energy needs.
   • Typically produces 40-53 kWh per day.
