When using stored energy, the battery sends the stored energy through the battery inverter to power your home. The switchboard then directs the converted energy to your appliances. If the battery runs out of charge, the grid can kick in (for on-grid systems) for continuous electricity flow. The VoltX™ Neovolt Solar Battery System has 8000 life cycles. One charge and one discharge equals one lifecycle, meaning the VoltX Neovolt has an expected lifespan of around 20 years.
